Support author and PR reviewer information in the Jira development panels
Benjamin Löffler
We have a repo in Bitbucket connected. I have noticed, that in the tickets and the development window some information is mission for the "Git integration for Jira" part. The Image of the author is seen in the bitbucket integration, but not in the Git Integration for Jira, also the Reviewer is mission and only available in the Bitbucket integration.
So please add this information, since its available in the system and quite usefull. Especially the reviewer information is needed in Jira to just works on a base level in jira and to not need to switch all the time back and forth.

Hello John,
thank you for the reply!
The reviewer information is beneficial for the developers and project leaders. The developer itself can see directly in the ticket who is responsible for the review (without the need to switch to Bitbucket). So even if I'm not the author or reviewer of the ticket/code I can see what my colleagues are doing and who reviewed it.
The more information is displayed, the more such a plugin is accepted by the team and the more added value is seen by them. Sometimes is difficult to convince someone from the advantage of linking commits with ticket keys. So if there is more added value, the are better Convinced :)
For the project leads its important to know who does what.
Regarding the quality and also regarding certification like the functional safety IEC 61505 its a very important information that needs to be documented, who did the reviews. Of course its already there in bitbucket, but to have it also linked and visible in the ticket goes more into the direction of traceability. So in general, external certification bodies who doe stuff like the IEC 61505 certifications, like this kind of visibility of information very much. At least from my experience when I worked with them.
Of course its not a game changer. But if would be useful in some use cases and would lead to a better acceptance why its needed to link commit and ticket together.

Benjamin, thanks for this great suggestion!
Can you tell me a bit about the type of user on your team who would benefit from seeing this information? Is it other developers or is it folks in a PM or dev lead-type role who (or perhaps both)?
Also, is there anything else about a PR that would be useful for you and your team to see (or do) with GIJ?
