This is a necessary feature. Our release pipeline workflow has multiple stages such as "DACPAC" and "API", so without this feature, all of our deployments show as unmapped and show as if multiple different releases were done for say the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment.

Very frustrating as it makes this tool not very useful without appropriate environment mapping.
